PHP – Change the upload file size from 2MB

In this post we will learn about how to Change the upload file size from 2MB in php.

This is very simple task you just need to change your php.ini file and you can easily change maximum upload size.

In my case I am using the wamp server for php, apache and mysql.

You need to follow these simple steps:

1) Go to C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.2.8\bin\

2) Open the file php.ini with a text editor like Notepad.

3) Search these lines and change them.

post_max_size = 8M

upload_max_filesize = 2M

max_execution_time = 30

max_input_time = 60

memory_limit = 8M

Change it to

post_max_size = 750M

upload_max_filesize = 750M

max_execution_time = 5000

max_input_time = 5000

memory_limit = 1000M

4) Restart wamp all service.

5) It’s done. Enjoy..!!
